Description | Sends 2 papers 'A note on 'The Electrode Potentials and the Energy of Solvation' and 'The significance of the Electrode Potential' being an answer to the criticism of J.A.V Butler' by [Jaroslav] Heyrovsky to report on and explains the situation for it. That the first paper was communicated by [Frederick George] Donnan in December 1923 and that the referee found it unfavourable for publishing until Heyrovsky was able to meet the criticism of his previous paper by [John Alfred Valentine Butler in Processions 104.A p.667, which resulted in the second paper. The referee approves of publication but points out that Heyrovsky has started from different assumption to Butler and has asked for a different opinion. |
