TitleCopy letter from William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr. [Francis Hugh Adam] Marshall, FRS
Date16 May 1924
DescriptionInforms of the decision of the appropriate Committee not to publish the paper by ['The physiology of reproduction in the cow'] by Mr. [John] Hammond in Translations. Explains that the merit of the paper is sound but is for the most part only an analysis of exisiting knowledge. Suggests the paper be withdrawn so it can be published elsewhere, perhaps in book form. Sends extracts of the report [not enclosed] to be of help to the author.
