DescriptionGives thanks for the invitaion to send a delgate for the 15th Anniversary Celebrations of Le Societe Geologique de Belgique. Informs of the decision of the President and the Council to appoint Dr. John William Evans, C.B.E, FRS to represent the Royal Society. Includes a P.S. giving Dr. Evan's address. The letter states the sender is the Secretary, however Francis Alexander Towle's signature appears very faintly above it.
