DescriptionDiscusses the sale of the Hebrew Prayer-Book [printed in Prague in either 1515 or 1519] and Psalter [printed in Brescia by Gersom ben Moses Soncino in 1493]. Says that Sotheby and Co. considered the books 'not of sufficient value to be included in the sale' but they are, according to the Librarian of the India Office, are 'exceedingly rare' and valuable.
