|22 February 1926
|Give thanks for Ferguson's application for a grant to aid in the research on the geology of Rye and Wilchelsea, but states that it has come too late to be considered among the applications next month. Suggests Ferguson sends the application again towards the end of May on grounds of Urgency, where it will be considered by the President and the Council.
