Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster |
Date | 3 January 1893 |
Description | Thanks Foster for his enquiries. They had two or three quite brilliant days at Brighton and came back quite refreshed. The Society is two hands short; Miss Chambers is at Bedford ill with a bad cold which has settled in her eyes, and Mr James has been detained by the sudden death of his aunt, with whom he was staying. Sends herewith the War Office letter to sign and post [not attached]. Today's 'Times' contains a third attack. |
