Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society |
Date | 9 January 1893 |
Description | Rix thinks there is no advantage in Mrs Frankland-West's[?] case being recommended by both President's, and as the Astronomical Society meets on the 13th it will be better for the case to come from them and be confirmed by the Royal Society's Council on the 19th. In this way a whole month will be saved. Rix has explained this to the President [William Thomson] and Mr Knobel. Rix supposes Foster means 11.30am on the 21st for the Owen memorial meeting. |
