TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lazarus Fletcher, Fellow of the Royal Society, British Museum (Natural History), Cromwell Road, S.W.
Date13 January 1893
DescriptionThe application to the Scientific Relief Fund must come from the President of the Geological Society. It is usual for the President to mention the case to his Council before sending it on to the Scientific Relief Committee. Full information ought to be given as to present means, and as to what relative, if any, ought themselves to be helping the case. It does not matter whether the particulars are sent to the RGS by Fletcher or by the widow.
