DescriptionRix is instructed by the Treasurer [John Evans] to say in reply to Howard's letter that the allowance of 15% will hold good from last Michaelmas, at any rate until Michaelmas next, so that Rix will be quite right in paying for the last half year at the rate of £85 per annum. Rix returns herewith inclosed Sir John Evans' letter to Howard as requested [not attached].
