Description | Foster thanks Sanderson for his letter with enclosures of the 10th April, which were laid before the President and Council at their recent meeting. Foster asks Sanderson to inform the Earl of Rosebery that the President has received news from Brazil to the effect that the observations of the Eclipse Expedition have been successful, that the Customs House Officers at Ceara were most obliging, and the delay occasioned by the misunderstanding at Pernamubco has led to no untoward results. |
