DescriptionInforms Dr [Henry Hallett] Dale that the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of Guernsey have applied for their film to be exempted from customs duty [under section 8 of the Finance Act 1928 - exemption of scientific films from customs duty, provided the Royal Society certifies them]. Informs Dale that the matter is urgent, and asks him to decide the outcome. Encloses a 'yes' and a 'no' form and asks Dale to fill in and send whichever is appropriate to Custom House.
