DescriptionIn reply to Dr [Frederick Frost] Blackman's letter, informs him of the procedure for applying for scientific films to be imported duty free [under section 8 of the Finance Act 1928]. Informs him that anyone desiring to import a film and have it exempted under this clause should make an application to the Secretary of Custom House, London, where the permission can be obtained. Informs Blackman that the Royal Society acts in an advisory capacity to Custom House on this subject.
