TitleCopy letter from Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir Philip Hartog, CJE
Date7 May 1930
DescriptionThanks Sir Philip Hartog for his generous offer of the silver container and stirrer, used in his experiments, on the condition that they are catalogued with the platinum calorimeter which was associated with them in Hartog's work. Suggests that he might want to retain the silver apparatus, as the platinum vessel was purchased from the Government Grant Fund, and is available for any use the Society needs it for.
