TitleCopy letter from [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh, to Sir Alfred Baring Garrod, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date21 July 1893
Description'Terling Place, Witham, Essex

Dear Sir Alfred,
I can bring your remarks before the Committee of Papers, but there will be no meeting until October, and it seems a pity to delay action so long. I think that probably you over-estimate the significance of the choice of the "Proceedings" ['Proceedings of the Royal Society'] as the channel of publication.
(signed) yours faithfully,
