TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Hartley, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 October 1893
Description'Dear Sir,
We have just discovered Messrs Annan & Swan's address. It is not Glasgow, as you said, but it is now "The Swan Electric Engraving Co.", 116 Charing Cross Road. Mr Swan thinks you have made a slip in your note about the negatives. You say "Enlarged two diameters" in each case. Do you mean this? Or is the smaller negative to be enlarged sufficiently to bring it same size as the larger negative? Please answer me.
Yours truly,
Herbert Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
