After due consideration the Council yesterday elected Miss Turner to the vacant post in our Catalogue Department. They were, nevertheless, favourably impressed by your qualifications, and, should another vacancy occur while you are still disengaged, it is quite possible that they might ask you to become a candidate for the post.
