I have spoken to the Treasurer about back volumes of "Phil. Trans." ['Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society']. He says he cannot settle definitely until he has consulted the Council, but, meanwhile, he wishes to know whether you would be included to purchase volumes between 1800 and 1873 at one-quarter the published price, or the same in sheets at ten per cent. less.
