In accordance with your letter of the 13th inst. [instant], I have now the honour to hand to your kind care the volumes of our "Philosophical Transactions" ['Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'] and "Proceedings" ['Proceedings of the Royal Society'] presented by the President and Council of the Royal Society to the Municipal Library of Alexandria, for transmission to Egypt at your convenience, in accordance with the Earl of Rosbery's suggestion. Future volumes will be sent in like manner, as published.
