In reply to the desire expressed in your letter of June 30, that the Royal Society should be represented at the proposed International Conference at Innsbruck, I am directed to say that the President and Council of the Royal Society have appointed as a delegate their Fellow John Henry Poynting, Professor of Physics in Mason College, Birmingham.
