DescriptionA copy of Sendall's letter of 15 May [1886] addressed to Lord Granville relative to the proposed expedition to Grenada to observe the total solar eclipse on 29 August was considered yesterday by the Eclipse Committee of the Royal Society. A reply has been sent to the Colonial Office but to save time Stokes sends an unofficial copy of the letter [not attached].
