DescriptionRegarding the Whitworth Land Company's [shares?], it will not be possible to execute the transfer without a meeting of Council and the next meeting is not scheduled until October. Foster has no hesitation in saying that the proposal of the Treasurers to accept the offer of Sir Joseph [Whitworth] will be approved of when they next meet and his correspondent may with perfect safety act upon the assumption.
