TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Reverend Professor Charles Pritchard, DD, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date2 October 1886
DescriptionIn reply to Pritchard's query, the papers are arranged [in the 'Philosophical Proceedings of the Royal Society'] in the order in which they are read, forming a history of the meeting. The whole number cannot be printed at once but each sheet as it is ready is printed. This method is one of the points which the publication committee have now under review and before long Rix thinks they will devise a better plan. Pritchard's full paper will appear in the next number. Notes the gentleman wounded at Bournemouth is not the Society's Walter White.
