DescriptionRix has been informed that Burdon-Sanderson was admitted to the Royal Society on Saturday and lit a fire in the Secretary's room. Rix asks Burdon-Sanderson to keep to the regulations on this matter with Fellows not to be admitted out of office hours. Rix notes it is very difficult for the servants to obey his instructions if the Fellows persuade them to disobey.
