DescriptionEvans encloses a copy of his address of 1884, Professor [George Gabriel] Stokes' address will not be in type before the anniversary meeting. There will be no difficulty arranging for the guarantee that Sir W Armstrong suggests and Evans will consult some other Fellows on the subject. Evans has already received £3375 [of subscriptions] and is collecting some of the unpaid subscriptions.
