TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Charles Chambers, Colaba, Bombay
Date2 February 1887
DescriptionRix as Assistant Secretary, has sent by this mail two copies of text and plates in proof of Chambers' paper together with the manuscript. The latter must be returned with one copy of the text and plates corrected. If there are no or very few errors he asks Chambers to telegraph so that they may proceed with printing at once which would enable them to put the paper into the 1887 part one instead of part two. Discusses whether the engraver has correctly understood Chambers' intention regarding the cross-lines.
