DescriptionRix thanks Nicoll on behalf of the Committee appointed to make arrangements for the Royal Society's soiree. He regrets that they have decided that they will not be able to avail themselves on this occasion of his kind offer to exhibit. Rix has written to Mr Cornish to tell him how sorry he is and to thank him for introducing Nicoll. Rix hopes Nicoll will be able to show them something on some other occasion, they are currently quite crowded with exhibits.
