DescriptionSymons' application for a grant to assist him in re-determining the temperature of the hot springs in the Pyrenees as laid down by Professor J D Forbes in 1836 was considered at the last meeting of Council and a sum not exceeding £40 voted from the Donation Fund. Rix asks Symons to let them know the total of his expenses on his return and a cheque will be sent. Alternatively a sum on account can be paid at once.
