TitleCopy letter from John William Strutt, Lord Rayleigh, to Henry Francis Blanford, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date19 July 1887
DescriptionFor various unavoidable reasons there has been great delay in respect of Mr Hill's paper. The Committee of papers has recently considered the matter and come to the conclusion that it would be desirable that the paper should appear in the 'Indian Meteorological Memoirs' rather that in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. Rayleigh has been instructed to arrange this with Blanford. The paper can be sent to Blanford on application to Mr Rix.
