DescriptionAt the instruction of the Library Committee of the Royal Society, Rix sends a proof-list of duplicates and spare literature [not attached]. Before this is issued as a sale-list to the Fellows of the Society this list is being sent to a few public libraries with the request that they will mark such books as they want. A selection of these will then be presented as a gift. Asks for return of the list marked with wants, within one week.
