TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt]
Date10 October 1887
DescriptionRix has today received from Herbert Tomlinson the manuscript of this two papers of May 1886 and April 1887. The additions to the former are very considerable. Rix asks if he should send the manuscripts to His Lordship, the referees, both, or whether they should go straight to press. The referees for the former paper were Sir William Thomson and Professor Carey Foster, and for the latter His Lordship and Professor [Robert Bellamy] Clifton.
