TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix to G A Blake, Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland
Date13 February 1886
DescriptionIn answer to Blake's note of yesterday the Royal Society will be happy to send Dr [Robert] McDonnell's publications. Asks Blake to ask Dr McDonnell for written authority to send his copies of the Society's publications to the library of the Royal College of Surgeons, to make it clear whether this includes the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' as well as the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', calls Blake's attention to a regulation which prohibits the Royal Society taking standing orders for the delivery of the 'Phil. Trans.' as published, and notes that McDonnell is entitled only to those parts of the 'Phil. Trans' which have been published within the last five years: all before that have been forfeited by not having been claimed.
