TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayeligh [John William Strutt]
Date28 October 1887
DescriptionRix asks Rayleigh if he is to send Messrs Beevor & Horsley their manuscript for revision. Rix does not think the little question regarding 'recast with additions' on Tomlinson's paper was quite settled and he and Mr White think it better not to send Tomlinson's paper to the printer until they hear how the voluminous additions are to be printed; White suggests square brackets and a general note that portions therein are revision of such and such a date. Rix sends herewith three circulars which he asks Rayleigh to sign and return [not attached].
