Title | Copy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Messrs Whiteman & Bass, 235 High Holborn |
Date | 9 November 1887 |
Description | The correspondent thinks he wrote to say that the Messrs estimate of 31 October [1887] for Professor W C Williamson's plates was accepted. Williamson has written to say the lettering upon the tracing-paper outlines is not intended to be put upon the plates in the present form, and that he will want the originals and these outlines returned to him with the proofs. If in the Messrs opinion the lettering ought to be introduced before proofs, the correspondent should be glad to hear from the Messrs. The text is ready and the plates should be pressed forward. |
