Description | Rix asks the Messrs to bind 50 copies of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' volume 42, at once. He asks the Messrs to regard it as a standing order to bind the volumes of the 'Proceedings' and the '[Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]' as soon as they are closed. The number of 'Proceedings' to bind is always 50 whilst the number of 'Transactions' varies but is always 450 less the number of Fellows who have the papers sent to them in separate form. The Society shall close the present volume of the 'Philosophical Transactions' with the current year. |
