TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Charles Holland Warne, 46 Brunswick Road, Brighton
Date20 March 1895
DescriptionThanks Warne for his letter and generosity in offering a copy of 'The Celtic Tumuli of Dorset'. The Officers wish Rix to say however that the Society is becoming exceedingly cramped for room and they have consequently disposed of nearly all their archaeological works since the Society is mainly concerned with natural sciences. 'Ancient Dorset' is still in the Society's library and they should be loathe to part with so handsome a volume but the Officers think it would be hardly fair to accept the additional gift so kindly offered.
