TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Frederick John Staples Browne, Bampton, Oxfordshire
Date25 March 1895
DescriptionIn answer to Browne's letter of the 23rd, the earliest volumes of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' are valuable. The later volumes, especially those since 1800 are of no special value. Rix does not know of any Fellow who would be likely to purchase them but he believes Mr Wheldon, 58 Great Queen Street, W.C., has a sale for the 'Philosophical Transactions' and is willing to buy up sets.
