TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Alfred Edward Howard Tutton, Royal College of Science, S.W.
Date3 October 1894
DescriptionRix acknowledges receipt of Tutton's letter of 2 October addressed to the Secretaries, both are unfortunately abroad and Rix is afraid that in a paper intended for the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' Rix cannot on his own responsibility give the permission for which Tutton asks. Tutton is however quite at liberty to reprint the abstracts. The Senior Secretary returns this week and Rix will lay Tutton's letter before him. The blocks are not in Collings' hands but in those of the printers and cliches can be obtained only upon Rix's order and at Tutton's own expense.
