TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor William Augustus Tilden, Fellow of the Royal Society, 9 Ladbrooke Gardens, Notting Hill, W.
Date29 October 1894
DescriptionRix has consulted the Treasurer [John Evans] regarding the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' and he says that the Royal Society can have no objection to Tilden purchasing a second copy at the reduced price, if Clay & Sons are willing to sell it. There can be no reason why Tilden should not write to Clay & Sons for a copy at Fellow's price. If the Messrs do not see their way to do this, it should not be difficult to purchase in the name of some Fellow who is not intending to claim his privilege.
