TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir John Evans
Date6 November 1894
DescriptionRix saw Mr Justin last evening about the sale of the separate parts. Justin did not remember the terms the Society offered but Rix finds from the letter book that on 10th January they offered to let Justin have back volumes at one fourth their published price or in sheets at ten percent less.

Rix notices that in Evans' draft letter he has said nothing about the terms on which the current issues of the separate papers are to be supplied. Trubner appears to have allowed thirty percent discount and ten percent on the net sales whereas the Society's terms with Freidlander are twenty five percent discount and ten percent on the net sales. Also notes Evans has not made Messrs Dulau aware that Friedlanders have been appointed the Society's continental agents, and is afraid this may be a difficulty with Dulau.

Encloses Evans's draft [not attached] and asks for it to be amended and returned and he will then submit it to Messrs Few & Company.
