TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Secretary, Mecahanics' Institution and Literary Society, Leeds
Date7 November 1894
DescriptionUpon an application from Mr Charles Chambers, several parts of the 'Philosohcial Transactions [of the Royal Society]' to which his claim had lapsed, were granted by the President and Council of the Society at a recent meeting.

Rix is not sure if Chambers is still in England and he informed the Society that his intention was to present them to his institution. Rix thinks it better to send the parcel direct to the Secretary. They will be dispatched almost immediately and Rix will be glad of acknowledgment.
