TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster
Date16 November 1894
DescriptionWhen Foster returned [Henry Horatio] Dixon and [John] Joly's manuscript with Mr [Francis] Darwin's report, Foster told the Society to send it on to the second referee. Darwin says that he ought to see it again before sending his formal report. Rix asks if he should send the manuscript back to Darwin when it comes from the second referee.

There is no sign in the Society's ledger of the instrument by Rothe[?] having been paid out of the Society's funds. The enclosed bill [not attached] had better be kept by Foster.
