TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir George Gabriel Stokes, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date14 December 1894
DescriptionRix apologises for the delay in replying to Stokes' memo of the 11th. The Shelton clock, he presumes, accompanied the pendulum apparatus lent to the Superintendent of Kew Observatory in May 1892 for observations in Australia. If so, that pendulum apparatus is reported in this year's 'Kew Report' as still in the custody of Mr R L J Ellery, Melbourne.
