DescriptionThe Society has several times sent Ransome memoranda of a balance of £3 due from Ransome as acting for the Franklin Institute. Ransome's indebtedness was acknowledged in a letter to the Society of 20th March, 1893, but the debt is till outstanding and they would be much obliged for an early settlement.
