TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to H M Vernon, Christchurch Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth
Date29 April 1895
DescriptionWith reference to Vernon's paper on 'the effect of environment on the development of echinoderm larvae', Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] wrote on 26 February calling Vernon's attention to the remarks of one of the referees with reference to the range of varieties. The Society has had no answer to that letter and as Vernon was at the time in Naples, Rayleigh desires Rix to write and ask whether it reached Vernon. The publication of the paper is delayed until the Society receives Vernon's answer.
