TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Karl Pearson, 7 Well Road, Hampstead, N.W.
Date16 May 1895
DescriptionRix encloses proofs of the two blocks which Pearson selected as test cases [not attached]. These prints are on the paper used for printing the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. If Pearson agrees with Rix that they show sufficiently well on this paper the Society will print them all at the end instead of dispersing them through the text.

The first proofs which Pearson will receive along with the text will not be of the same quality as this sample because they will not be pressed, but in their final form Pearson may depend upon their being like the specimens sent herewith.
