TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord William George Armstrong, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 May 1895
DescriptionThe Society shall be glad to have the slides for 12th June but are sorry to hear Armstrong will be unable to attend to explain them. They gladly accept Mr Swinton's assistance however and the same arrangement shall be made as for the May Soirée.

If possible it is desirable to reduce the number of slides shown as they will have two other lantern shows that evening.
