TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster
Date31 May 1895
DescriptionRix is summoning the Committee in accordance with Foster's instructions and supposes Foster means the Catalogue Committee and not the International Catalogue Committee. Supposes Foster is putting off the Library Committee until the 20th.

Advises Foster of the re-arrangement of the order of papers to be read at the next meeting as the Duke of Saxe-Coburg will be attending for admission into the Society. If the Duke stays for the reading of any papers, Rix supposes that after Mr [Joseph Norman] Lockyer's papers a biological paper might be read such as [William Crawford] Williamson and [Dukinfield Henry] Scott, or something else illustrated.

Minchin's paper sent in for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' is beyond the standard length so Rix shall not print anything for the meeting unless Foster tells him to.
