TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Direct Photo-Engraving Company
Date24 June 1895
DescriptionOn 30th January the Company estimated for five plates to illustrate a paper by Dr Risien Russell at £35. The Committee were not able to accept this estimate due to the cost. The paper has been revised and the photographs cut down to a single plate consisting of four photographs given on the accompanying sheets [not attached]. Asks to know the lowest cost of reproducing these four photographs on one plate, for 1000 copies, paper included.
