TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Mrs Thomas Henry Huxley
Date5 July 1895
DescriptionThe President and Council are united with the whole Society in feeling for Mrs Huxley in the great grief which has fallen upon her. Describes Huxley as a bright ornament and a faithful servant of British Science and especially the Royal Society. Lists some of Huxley's many Society related achievements. Hopes it will be some small consolation to her to be once more reminded how much Huxley was admired and loved by his brethren in science.
