TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to His Excellency, The Spanish Ambassador
Date16 July 1895
DescriptionDr Hans Friedrich Gadow FRS of the University of Cambridge is about to visit the provinces of Leon and Burbia at the end of the month for the purpose of carrying on some investigations in natural history.

Gadow's enquiries would be much assisted if he possessed some official introductions to the authorities of the Guardia Civil in those provinces. Asks if His Excellency feels able and willing to afford Dr Gadow assistance in this matter. Gadow would be most happy to call at the Embassy and give further details as to his plan at any time.
